This PDF sewing pattern is the end result of research and development to make available an historic idea for modern day use.  This garment is an historic pattern called a Eura, believed to be worn as an undergarment around 500-1,000 AD.  It's much like a shift dress that acts as a petticoat under the corset and overskirts.  Like many historic garments it's based on the best utilisation of precious textiles that we now refer to as zero-waste.

The PDF download includes:

1. The PDF sewing pattern scaled to work with 3 different width fabrics (112cm/44", 130cm/51" and 150cm/59".) so you should be able to find something in your stash to make the most of this historic sewing pattern.  It's available in three different print format options:  A4/letter to print at 33 pages, A0 print at 2 pages and 36" plotter print at just under 2 metres (2 yds 7 in).  You're able to select your print option prior to purchasing the sewing pattern.
2. A PDF A4/letter print document (18 pages) that has all the blog post information on this unique design including different sizing as it relates to different width fabrics and sewing instructions.
