I’ve always loved creative design and the challenges that brings to the pattern making table. That’s the core of my posts on the blog. I offer pattern making instructions and creative design for HOME and PERSONAL use only. With time and a lot of work I hope to expand this work into some online training for creative pattern making.
All of the content on this site is my own creative output and is therefore covered by copyright and is for HOME and PERSONAL use only unless otherwise specified. If you would like to share this content on your own blog or website then it’s polite for you to ask before taking.
I am open to teachers and commercial entities using this content, but only with my permission. Some products already have an option for teachers and commercial interests to purchase and use legitimately. If that option is not available on the product or post you are interested in then you will have to contact me directly and ask for that permission. It’s not a given that I will grant that permission and it is likely that there will be costs involved.
On many of my products I have added an option for teachers and commercial interests to buy my sewing patterns, garment blocks and pattern making instructions to use in their businesses and classrooms. However this does not include permission to resell, copy or upload these products to any platform or network. It’s strictly permission for the purchaser to use these digital products (in perpetuity) in their jobs and businesses but not to make money from resale.
I use Paypal for my payments system because it is considered the safest way to deal with your sensitive financial information and keep it safe. You can use your own Paypal account or pay using a credit card through the Paypal system. I am unable to process phone orders or bank transfers for digital products.
You can place your orders by going to the SHOPS tab and selecting the products you’re after and adding them to your cart. When you have everything you desire in your cart, continue through to the checkout process to finalise your purchase. Once you have paid you will receive an email with your invoice and the links to download your patterns or blocks. You’ll find the links in the product description in the invoice. Click on that link and follow the prompts to download.
The first thing to do is to go to your downloads folder and make sure it isn’t already there. Some computer systems have trouble with large files so maybe try to download from a different device. If that doesn’t work then don’t hesitate to get in touch and I’ll sort it out for you. It’s worth remembering that I’m in the Southern hemisphere so it maybe the next morning before I’m able to respond to your email. But I will always respond within 24 hours or sooner.
Allowing everyone to have unlimited downloads may pose a very small security threat to the website. So if after six downloads you still need to download again please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll reset your downloads. I have only set six downloads per transaction as a way of keeping all transactions safer for everyone. For teachers and business uses I have set the limit at 12 downloads. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any issues with your order.
No, you can place an order without an account by selecting the ‘guest’ option. However by creating an account you will be able to return and access your downloads, leave reviews of your purchases and track all your orders and if anything goes wrong. It is easier to restore purchases that have used an account.
All of the product and content on my website has been adjusted to permit personal, business and teaching use at an increase price level. That means if you buy for commercial or teaching use you have permission to use that digital content forevermore. So yes pay for commercial use of sewing patterns and you can make product from those patterns and sell that product. If you pay for teaching use yes, you can make paper copies of instructions, sewing patterns or blocks for the class to use. However you are not permitted to resell or share that content or upload it to any sharing platform.
As soon as you have purchased and received your download links there is no way to cancel or change your order as you have already received the digital goods and they cannot be returned. If however you have mistakenly ordered the wrong print version of a pattern or garment block then please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll happily send you the right size print version so you can get on with your creative project.
If I’ve missed any important information, please don’t hesitate to send me an email below so I can include your information on this page for everyone. 🙂
