The Corporate Shirt sewing pattern can be cut and made in one fabric only or contrast can be added to the under collars, yoke lining and placket detail on the sleeves. All of my makes have included contrast fabrics. It was originally developed for a comfortable fit in a corporate environment and turns out to be comfortable for all occasions.
When you purchase this pattern you will receive four different PDF’s in your download:
- Your sewing pattern in your selected format of either A0 (2 pages), A4/letter (27 p ages) or plotter format at 36″.
- Listed sewing instructions A4/letter format (5 pages).
- Fabric Usage Charts and all lay-plans for fabric widths 110cm, 130cm and 150cm (10 pages).
- As a bonus exclusive to this sewing pattern you will receive and A4/letter format PDF of detailed pattern making instructions for conducting a Full Bust Adjustment (FBA) on the Corporate Shirt Pattern (19 pages).
My PDF block and pattern downloads can be printed as A0 or 36” plotter print at your local print shop or as A4/letter at home. Please be sure when you go to the print shop or print at home that you select for printing at ‘actual size’ with ‘no scaling’, or at 100%.
This pattern is available for personal and home use as well as business and educational. Use the drop down menu to make your selection.
Description
The Corporate Shirt sewing pattern can be cut and made in one fabric only or contrast can be added to the under collars, yoke lining and placket detail on the sleeves. All of my makes have included contrast fabrics. It was originally developed for a comfortable fit in a corporate environment and turns out to be comfortable for all occasions.
The fit of this Corporate Shirt is relaxed with back waist darts and front bust darts only. There are no front waist darts for an easy fit.
It features:
- A two-piece shirt collar.
- Double layer yoke.
- Set-in sleeve.
- Gauntlet Placket and placket bind.
- Shirt cuff.
- Front button opening.
- Curved shirt tails.
To begin use my size chart to work out which size in the sewing pattern is best for you. This chart is based on your body measurements. If you’d like information about taking these measurements go to my website for information. The usual amount of garment ease for woven fabrics has been added to the body measurement in making this sewing pattern.
