The idea behind the Fashion Illustration school incursion is to build the tools and skills required to produce industry quality fashion illustrations.  Fashion templates are provided for students to practice sketching and rendering colour and texture in a supportive environment. It’s a full or half day incursion within the schools usual operating hours and is suitable for students of all skill levels.

There are demonstrations and practice sessions in the use of different colour and media to create depth, movement and print effects in the illustration. And finally, demonstrations of a simple presentation technique to achieve a professional look in a fashion portfolio. Production sketching is also included in this training session to make real the ideas in the fashion illustration presentation.

At Studio Faro we provide all the templates and instructions for this exciting incursion:

1. They will learn about specialist art papers.
2. They’ll master the use of high quality art materials to achieve sharp garment detail.
3. Their finished project will be laid-up and presented on black art card.
4. The teacher will be left with digital copies of all the templates, suppliers list and a full set of worksheets for this incursion.

All INCURSION details:

• delivered on school premises in Riverina areas.
• all templates and worksheet instructions are provided by Studio Faro.
• all art materials are provided by the school.
• one member of staff required in attendance for supervision.
• hours are the regular full (or half) day school session.
• bookings are confirmed on receipt of full payment.
• the date of the incursion will be agreed between the textile teacher and Studio Faro.
