Plastic Free Sewing

$70.00

Have you ever thought how wonderful it would be to not have to deal with all the plastic involved in your weekly shop?  Over the past few years we have all happily transitioned to sustainable shopping bags and have even managed to get past the bad habit of leaving them at home or in the car.  For the past 6 months I’ve been wanting to somehow minimise the amount of plastics I bring into the home with the weekly shop.  All those plastic bags overflowing in the kitchen draw.

Well I’ve finally done it and I’d like to share that process with everyone else.  I’ve re-used old tea towels, bed sheets and fabric scraps to make an amazing range of veggie bag sizes to suit all the fruit and veg I buy every week.  I’ve got long narrow bags for the Spring Onions.  And I’ve made small bags for the precious ginger and garlic haul.

Join me for a creative session (10.00-14.00) and set yourself up to move ever closer to the plastic-free dream.  I’ll provide all the patterns, fabric and drawcords and all you have to bring is your sewing machine and sewing kit.

Join me for a creative session (10.00-14.00) and set yourself up to move ever closer to the plastic-free dream.  I’ll provide all the patterns, fabric and drawcords and all you have to bring is your sewing machine and sewing kit.
