The instructions in this worksheet are for turning my Womens Knit Block into a Knit Kimono Block.  It is one of my most favourite of blocks, and I’ve used it on many occasions with my Pattern Puzzle posts on my ‘well-suited’ blog.  The worksheet is 10 pages of diagrams and detailed instructions that leads you step-by-step through the pattern making process.  My Knit Block is not included in the worksheet and has to be purchased separately.

The Womens Knit Block comes is two sets of sizes: Sizes 6-16 and Sizes 12-22.  To decide the best size set for your pattern making, you can use my Size Chart to check against your own measurements.

Like my Women’s Knit Block, the Kimono Block is best suited to two-way (four-way in the US) stretch fabrics.  If you desire to use one-way (two-way in the US) stretch, then I suggest you select a larger size for your project.

As for all new pattern making work, your block will have to be tested for fit before you begin any pattern making.

The PDF is designed to be viewed on an iPad and has only one pattern making move or instruction on each page.

You’ll need some pattern making paper and the usual pattern making equipment.  Please remember that my Knit Block is best suited to two-way (US four-way) stretch knits.
